Overview:
CID Gulf was appointed to provide technical peer review services and advisory input on HVAC and electrical power system disputes at the luxury Al Baleed Resort in Salalah. The resort, already operational, had undergone multiple HVAC design iterations leading to performance concerns, rework, and operational inefficiencies.
Scope of Work:
Review and comparison of three separate HVAC and electrical power system designs (tender, VE, and installed) Assessment of indoor air quality compliance with ASHRAE and operator standards Evaluation of electrical power system alignment with HVAC reworks CAPEX and OPEX benchmarking of MEP options Engineering assessment to support dispute resolution between client and contractor Optional site inspection and technical audit (Phase 2)
Outcome:
